Do I have to sign a long-term contract?


It is preferred but not necessary.




Do you have a cancellation policy?


You may choose to cancel your contract with 30 days written notice for any cause and without penalty.




What is the difference between HMS and other commercial cleaning services?


We are a boutique family-owned operation where clients and employees are number one with over 15 years of experience.




Does HMS provide services other than general cleaning?


Yes, we can provide highly trained day porter services and parking lot and facility management.




Does HMS have proper insurance?


Yes, we carry a commercial general liability policy and umbrella of up to $5 million backed by Liberty Mutual. Our employees are insured for on-the-job injuries with workers compensation through Travelers.




What types of properties do you specialize in?


Government, public, education, non-profit, real estate, HOA, home owners associations, office, retail, commercial spaces and health care facilities.




Where is HMS located?


We provide cleaning services domestically in the United States and growing our international foot print. Our corporate headquarters are in Miami, Florida.

Does someone need to be at the location when staff is cleaning?


No, we can clean before or after business hours, or any time you prefer. Our cleaning services are tailored to meet your businesses specific needs.




How do I know the cleaning crew is spending the time I have contracted them for?


It depends if the agreement is by square footage or per hour/per person. In either case, we use time and task management applications to evidence our work.




How can we identify HMS professional staff when they are in our facility?


Every one of our employees is required to wear a uniform with our HMS logo and carry identification cards.




What cleaning products do you use?


The cleaning products and application procedures depend on the specific requirements of the customer. We have a set of procedures and trainings that can accommodate eco-friendly facilities using green seal / eco-friendly products but we can also adapt to those facilities that aren't eco-friendly and help transition from conventional products to eco-friendly. Our priority and responsibility is to educate our customers on the impact eco-friendly products have in our environment and employee health.




How does HMS determine a rate?


We use 2 formulas: square footage or hourly rate. In either case, we will agree to perform a set of tasks within a contracted time frame.
